Sales Executive

The Sales Executive is an expert at generating new business leads. This individual will be responsible for hunting for leads, connecting with prospects, promoting Pophouse within the industry and community, and ultimately developing new client relationships. The role is perfect for someone who wants to have an immediate impact on the future of our business, has a sense of urgency, is a self-starter, and is results-oriented. This individual also needs to be a skilled presenter who can quickly learn the strategy and positioning of Pophouse and communicate it effectively and persuasively to generate new business. Their goal will be to generate solids leads for the Business Development team to then follow through with on proposal generation, review, and signing.

01 Responsibilities +
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets to drive increased revenue to the business
  • Manage the early on process for all opportunities including generating leads, initial client communication, introductory presentations, and effective hand-off of warm leads to the Business Development team
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Pophouse mission, differentiators, and offerings to sell to clients
  • Research companies and prospective upcoming projects to discover potential new revenue-producing clients and projects
  • Develop prospect lists and build a robust sales pipeline with potential long-term client relationships
  • Identify key decision makers and develop an understanding of potential design needs
  • Maintain regular communication with Business Development (BD) team on prospecting and effectively transition warm leads over to the BD team to draft and deliver design services proposals that are customized to the clients’ needs
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network with business professionals and increase industry knowledge
02 Qualifications +
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5 years experience in customer service, sales, or related area with track record of exceeding sales goals and increasing revenue
  • Strong interpersonal, and presentation skills with an extreme passion for the client relationship
  • Ability to perform at a fast pace with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, methods, and techniques
  • Experience working in architecture, interior design or construction industry desired
  • Architecture or design-related degree preferred
