Ally Detroit Center

Standing at 619 feet, the tallest office building in the state is located at 500 Woodward Ave. Originally designed by Johnson Burgee in 1993 as the Comerica Tower at the Detroit Center, it became property of Bedrock in 2015 after the bank vacated in 2012. Renamed the Ally Detroit Center, this 43-story skyscraper now houses the Ally finance company. Adorning a Postmodern-style structure with a white granite facade and a gabled roof crowned with Neogothic-inspired spires, the building is conveniently situated a block from Campus Martius Park.
