Roland Berger
Roland Berger, a global consulting firm, has relocated their Detroit office to the historic Traver Building on the iconic Woodward Avenue within the city’s central business district. Brandon Boyle, Roland Berger Senior Partner and Head of the firm’s North American Automotive Practice, requested a space which would celebrate the company’s heritage and demonstrate their forward-thinking culture as leaders in industry sectors including advanced Automotive, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Transaction & Investor Services, Capital Goods, Consumer Goods & Retail, and Chemicals, among others; and business solutions including Corporate Strategy, Performance Improvement, Sustainability, and AI.
Pophouse set out to envision a space for both clients and team members alike, exuding sophistication, functionality, and thoughtful layers of hospitality. Roland Berger’s rich European heritage, paired with their innovative approaches for their local and global clients, informed Pophouse’s focus on a design narrative of calibration and excellence. The incorporation of natural materials honors both the city of Detroit and reinforces Roland Berger’s commitment to sustainability.
