Hudson’s Atrium
The Woodward Office Lobby at Hudson’s Detroit offers a preamble to the grand scale of the Atrium, featuring soft, organic architecture, hospitable space to gather, and an engaging display of digital content wrapping the reception. Designed to engage and activate at street-level, this lobby serves as a welcome landing for office tenants and their guests.
The Atrium at the Hudson’s Detroit Block building serves as the building’s social heart, a vertical landscape where daylight washes across multiple levels. Greenery softens the scale of the architecture and space planning was designed for real life pacing with an atmosphere that reads calm, polished, and quietly energetic. Café style seating and lounge pockets invite tenants to work between meetings, share a coffee, or host an informal conversation without ever leaving the building, while the layered mix of materials keeps the experience tactile and warm. The result is a space that performs throughout the day, shifting effortlessly from morning commute to afternoon collaboration, with hospitality cues and a sense of openness that make the space feel like a destination rather than a pass through.
